Pathology in literal terms means “study of diseases” and attempts to identify the causative factors behind it. Pathology lab services are the cornerstone of practicing evidence based medicine which is backed by clinical data and research and not mere guesswork.
It is hence an essential part of any healthcare establishment as it aids clinicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment. It is a multidisciplinary branch including Hematology, Cytology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Serology, Immunology and microbiology services.
Stringent protocols, SOPs and quality checks at each level of sample handling (from collection and analysis to reporting and dispatching) is of paramount importance to ensure accuracy of reports which in turn aid in high quality patient care.
Dr. Bhawna Nagel Rathi is an alumnus of the prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal equipped with state of art pathology lab services. She then did her senior residency from Lok Nayak Hospital, Delhi and has even worked with HOD Karkardooma as consultant pathologist overviewing stringent quality control measures and lab operations spanning all subspecialities like hematology, biochemistry, serology, clinical pathology, cytology and microbiology.
Her clinical experience also includes expertise in PAP smear, FNAC and histopathology (tissue biopsy) reporting.
She has also been closely involved in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students and DMLT students.

1.This Scheme is applicable only for tests done on or after 17th May 2025.
2. 5% of Bill Value of the referred patient will be credited as referral cashback in the pathology account of the person who has referred the patient and will be redeemable as referral discount in next visit for subsequent tests.
3.To be eligible for Referral Discount, the patient has to inform the name of the referring person at the time of billing. No future enquiries in this regard will be entertained if not done at the time of billing.
4.Referral discount can only be availed by the same person (in whose pathology account it is credited) for subsequent tests and is not transferrable to any other person.
5.To be eligible for a referral discount, the person needs to be an existing client of Sanjeevani Pathology.
6.The decision to continue or discontinue this scheme in future will be taken entirely by the owner of Sanjeevani Pathology.
