Psychiatry is a branch of medicine that deals with disorders affecting brain areas that deal with higher order Brain functions chiefly (But not limited to) consciousness, thought, emotions, cognition and behavior. These disorders can either solely affect these brain functions or commonly involve other brain areas producing other neurological sequelae. Sooner or later other organ systems of the body also get involved leading to multi-system/organ manifestations.
Brain is the central orchestrator governing whole body functions, hence disorders affecting brain are very important and should be diagnosed and treated at the earliest.

Dr. Anubhav Rathi after finishing his 12th from Delhi Public School, R K Puram, Delhi joined MBBS at Madras Medical College and Research Institute, Chennai and subsequently did his MD in Neuropsychiatry at King George’s Medical University, Lucknow where he completed his thesis in adolescent Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and its co-morbidities and underwent speciality postings and rotations namely sexual medicine, neurology, addiction medicine, child psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. Post MD he has worked for 3 Years as a senior resident at Department Of Psychiatry, Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences, Delhi (IHBAS) and University College of Medical Sciences and associated Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital (UCMS & GTB), Delhi. He was working as an Assistant Professor at Santosh Medical College and Hospital, Ghaziabad till March 2015 and currently is a practicing psychiatrist at his own private clinic Sanjeevani Multispeciality Clinic at SE-2 Shastri Nagar (main Hapur Road) in Ghaziabad.
He is one of the reviewers of Delhi Psychiatry Journal, which is a peer reviewed indexed journal. He has more than 40 publications in various national and international journals and is also a recipient of the fellowship of ‘Dr. Ramachandra N Moorthy Foundation for Mental Health and Neurological Sciences’ awarded by Prof Norman Sartorius (ex-director, Division of Mental Health, WHO) apart from winning best paper and best poster awards for his work by Delhi Psychiatric Society. He is currently on the advisory board of many multinational Pharmaceuticals assisting them in research and patient care activities.
Dr. Anubhav Rathi treats patients across all psychiatry specialities but he has a special interest in the area of Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) across whole lifespan.
